good reads | yes, please

amy

I’m sure I’m not alone when I say Amy Poehler is my spirit animal. I’m a huge fan of her humor and admire her success & body of work, so when James asked for some Christmas gift ideas, I placed Yes, Please at the top of the list. I devoured this book, almost finishing it entirely on the plane when we flew to Boston over the holidays. the chapters in the book touch upon various topics, including her childhood, her parents, her early days in improv, past relationships, and hilarious sex advice. I’m an avid reader, and I can’t remember the last time a book made me laugh out loud that much.

if you’re in need of a fun read written by an incredible & incredibly funny woman, read this.

happy monday!

p.s. one of my goals this year was to laugh more, so I’m eagerly looking forward to reading this & this (yes, I’m incredibly late to the party, but I’m rectifying it!).
