shorts are tricky things. they’re either too long or too short; they’re too tight in one place and/or too loose in another; they ride and bunch up. because of this, I only own 3 pairs, all of which only get used when all of my jeans are in the wash or the weather is just too hot not to wear them. but then I tried these from old navy and fell in love. made of comfy, stretchy cotton-twill, these shorts are adjustable in length from 3.5″ to 6″, have a wide waistband that doesn’t dig in or roll, and don’t ride or bunch up. what more could you want? they have the perfect slouchy “boyfriend” look, but if you want something more fitted, you can cuff them higher or go down a size. my initial “let’s give these a try” order had three pairs, and I’ve since ordered all the other colors. sometimes sizing differs between colors of the same item, but the sizing was consistent with the three I’ve received and tried on.
good buys is a feature on short&lovely that highlights purchases that are the opposite of buyer’s remorse. some of these purchases were made at a steal; some were purchased for a pretty penny but have definitely proved worthy of the cost through their functionality and quality. who doesn’t love a good buy? :)
